How to Donate your Medal

If you would like to donate a medal, please take a moment to fill out a Donation Form about yourself and where the medal is from to provide us and M4M recipients some background on you and your gift. You may send your medal to the nearest regional address listed on the Contacts page of this site.

Also note that we now offer a special Medal Gift Request Form if you would like us to deliver a medal with a Medals4Mettle branded ribbon attached to a specific recipient that you designate. Please view the form for more details of the program.

Note to our medal donors: Medals4Mettle accepts earned marathon, half-marathon, or triathlon medals. In the spirit of fostering philanthropy, we also accept medals earned by children who wish to donate them to other children. We appreciate your donated medals, however please do not send badges, pins, patches, stickers, plaques, ribbons or trophies as these cannot be used. Only the medals noted above are accepted.

Also, to reduce your postage costs and our labor, please remove the ribbon from the medal before mailing. We will award your medal with a clean brilliantly-colored Medals4Mettle ribbon.

Please package your medal(s) in a large envelope with card board or bubble wrap around it to prevent the envelope from becoming torn or destroyed in postage machines. Thank you!

How to Donate Money

To donate money (as little as $4 supplies a ribbon to a deserving individual) please use the Donate button at the bottom of the page or send a check made payable to Medals4Mettle and send it to: Medals4Mettle, 1400 N. Ritter Avenue, Suite 221, Indianapolis, IN 46219.

Make a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more to help offset the costs of distributing and awarding medals to recipients and you'll receive a ribbon which you can attach to your own medal to give to some deserving recipient you may know.

Donations of $25 receive a Medals 4 Mettle t-shirt, and donations of $30 or more receive a shirt and ribbon.

If donating $25 or more, please list the t-shirt size (Adult S, M, L, XL) and color (red, blue, green) desired in the Paypal memo box. (If you want to donate money but do not want a ribbon or t-shirt sent to you, please indicate that in the PayPal memo box.)
